Artistic Statement: I produced this series of photographs for my coursework in February 2020. I was inspired by the work of Saul Steinberg and his use of masks. My original interest was the way the masks could convey the inner thoughts of the person. The idea that we have a public and personal persona and an inner dialogue that no one else is privy to.
